When to Go to the Emergency Room Instead
Go to the nearest emergency room or call 911 if you or someone with you has:
- Open fracture (bone through skin)
- Significant bone deformity requiring surgical management
- Loss of circulation or sensation below the injury
- Suspected spine, hip, or pelvic fracture
